What jobs do you have available?

We have a range of career opportunities, from assistant to experienced technicians. Occasionally, we have vacancies for contact centre advisors and administrative and management roles. You can check these by clicking on the “Search Jobs” section.

How do I apply for a job?

If you click on the “Search Jobs” button, you will see the range of jobs available. Click on one, and this will guide you through the application process.

What qualifications do I need?

Each job requires a different level of experience or qualifications. We provide training and offer opportunities to gain skills and qualifications while working with us.

Do I need experience in fitting vehicle glazing?

If you are applying for an assistant or trainee technician role you will not be expected to have any experience and we will provide on the job training and help guide you to attain relevant qualifications.

If you are applying for an experienced technician role you will be expected to already have the necessary skills, although we will provide you with additional training based on our methods.

Where do you have jobs available?

We have 108 fitting and calibration centres throughout the UK. By clicking on the “Search Jobs” section, you will be able to see the location of each vacancy we have.

How much do you pay?

We offer an excellent remuneration to our employees based on experience, qualifications and length of time with the business.

Will I have to pay for my training or qualifications?

No, one of our guiding principles is to have the best staff in the industry, providing our customers with a high level of service. We train our employees in-house as part of their employment with the aim of helping them attain NVQ Level 2 and 3 qualifications.

Do I have to supply my own van as a technician?

No, as an employee we will provide all the necessary equipment and vehicles for your role.

How much travelling will be involved?

Each day is different as a National Windscreens technician. Our assistant and trainee techicians will work alongside an experienced technician. So, one day they could be based at a fitting and calibration centre and travelling with a mobile technician the next.

What career progression can I expect?

It depends where you start in the company. We pride ourselves on our training and development. That is why we have so many long serving staff who have progressed through the business.

We would expect an assistant to become a trainee once they are competent. A trainee will then progress to a technician, dependent on availability and how they have developed through training and attaining qualifications.

Some technicians move on to become fitting centre managers. In many cases they have achieved this by their mid 20s if they have joined us after college.

How old do I have to be?

We pride ourselves on our diverse range of employees, and we are committed to an equal opportunities policy when it comes to recruitment, training and development.
